RAW IS JERICHO! Y2J Hosts Monday Night Raw #raw #wwe #y2k #fandango #paulheyman #rawisjericho

RAW IS JERICHO!! RAW IS JERICHO!! RAW IS JERICHO!!

Yup, you read it right, Chris Jericho is the host of Monday Night Raw. Rightfully so, he kicked off Monday Night Raw and was received with a warm reaction from the crowd. Jericho initially called Fandango to the ring to confront Fandango for accepting his Slammy Award. But who came to the ring? Paul Heyman!

Heyman proclaimed that he is the father of extreme wrestling (hence he was the created of ECW).  He explained that deserved the Slammy for the Most Extreme Moment of 2014. Jericho called Heyman a walrus and told Paul he owed him $200.00 from his ECW days. (That probably is true). Heyman then began to reference his client, Brock Lesner and the crowd unanimously began to boo. (I hope Lesner drops the belt in January...I miss seeing the WWE Title). Heyman then called Rollins a failure for failing to defeat Cena last night.

Rollins then came to the ring. Now, I wonder if the beef between Heyman and Rollins means that Rollins will be cashing in the Money in the Bank contract at the Royal Rumble. I think it is totally possible that Lesnar will defeat Cena, and then Rollins will defeat Lesnar. I VOTE FOR THAT STORYLINE...but who knows.

Anyway, back to tonight. Once Rollins made it to the ring he began to talk recklessly...all I heard was blah blah blah. Eventually Rollins challenged Cena to a rematch and Cena came to the ring. Cena asks Jericho to make the rematch tonight, and Jericho agrees...and makes it a Steel Cage Match!

Oh yea, Rollins began to complain and cry about how washed up Jericho was. Jericho decided to prove a point and made a match between himself and Paul Heyman. GO TO THE WWE APP TO VOTE FOR WHAT KIND OF MATCH IT IS GOING TO BE!!

SummerSlam 1988 – Since we are just a few weeks away from SummerSlam 2012, I believe it is only appropriate to take a look at the very first one.

Long before I was born, okay two years before I was born, but long before I was thought of I’m sure, there was the great SummerSlam 1988. This is the historic night that set the precedent for the subsequent 22 almost 23 SummerSlams. What were the matches on that night? I’m glad you asked! The British Bulldogs (The late Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid) vs. The Fabulous Rougeaus (Jacques and Raymond), this tag team match ended in a draw. Okay Answer for 1000 points, who are the Fabulous Rougeaus? Don’t worry I’ll wait. Buzz!!! The Fabulous Rougeaus were a tag team, duh! They were in the WWE for a short time but Jacques went on to become one half of the very popular Quebecers. Okay semi-popular Quebecers. But hey they were three time WWE tag team champions, three more than the Rockers. But in comparison to popularity…I guess championships really don’t matter *shrugs shoulders*. The late Bad News Brown defeated Ken Patera. Both of these wrestlers won competitive ...

The Undertaker vs. Triple H - WWE Super Show-Down Results and Grades #SSD #WWE

HBK came down to the ring first. The fans clamored to get pictures of HBK...to be honest I would be too. Shawn is still in great shape, now he is the heartbreak grandpa. HHH came out next with a mask on but without the fanfare I expected. He came to the ring pretty fast and it was a pretty basic HHH entrance. He does have new ring gear which is nice. The Melbourne crowd loved HHH. Kane then came to the ring. I love how his name shows up when he walks to the ring it's pretty cool. The Undertaker's entrance of course was epic. All you saw were phones everywhere as fans attempted to snap pictures of the Deadman. The Undertaker looked great in his entrance and brought presence and prestige to the night. (Except for the gray on the sides...Undertaker I never want to see a another gray hair on your head). Fans complain about the older wrestlers taking the spotlight but the Undertaker's presence gives a PPV that extra push that makes it a classic. The match was no disq...
