Okay, so what is the deal with Extreme Rules? I swear every WWE pay-per-view disappoints me with its results. Now I get it my favorites can't win every time...but seriously, is the WWE trolling us?
After an unprecedented undefeated streak and with an in-ring style that is phenomenal it feels that the WWE is burying Asuka. She has lost twice now to Carmella and once to Charlotte. It seems that WWE is thinking too short term with Asuka and should be thinking about the long haul.
Now, this isn't to take anything away from Carmella because she is phenomenal. However, Asuka's losses are just killing her character, stamina, and reputation.
Did you see Jeff Hardy's face when he came to the ring...he was visibly unhappy. I'm sure this is reflective of how Asuka feels too. It seems that WWE creative just forgets about fan favorites and books them on their own personal desires.
Let's hope this is some build up for something big and amazing because right now it isn't looking good.
HBK came down to the ring first. The fans clamored to get pictures of HBK...to be honest I would be too. Shawn is still in great shape, now he is the heartbreak grandpa. HHH came out next with a mask on but without the fanfare I expected. He came to the ring pretty fast and it was a pretty basic HHH entrance. He does have new ring gear which is nice. The Melbourne crowd loved HHH. Kane then came to the ring. I love how his name shows up when he walks to the ring it's pretty cool. The Undertaker's entrance of course was epic. All you saw were phones everywhere as fans attempted to snap pictures of the Deadman. The Undertaker looked great in his entrance and brought presence and prestige to the night. (Except for the gray on the sides...Undertaker I never want to see a another gray hair on your head). Fans complain about the older wrestlers taking the spotlight but the Undertaker's presence gives a PPV that extra push that makes it a classic. The match was no disq...
